Abstract
This research aims to diagnose the level of organizational similarity as an entry point to enhance the strategic performance of administrative leaders in higher education institutions. It aims to demonstrate the importance of integrating the concepts, moral values, and habits that characterize individuals with the organization’s culture and work style. This integration is essential to define the identity of the organization in which it works and give it the ability to achieve the best strategic performance in response to developments in the environment and economy and at a speed that matches its competitors. This research raises several research questions, including: Does the management of the colleges in question possess the dimensions of organizational symmetry? What is the nature of the correlation and effect relationships between organizational symmetry in terms of its dimensions and the strategic performance of the colleges in the field of research? The research used the descriptive analytical approach to address these questions to cover theoretical and conceptual frameworks and data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
The research field at the University of Mosul is represented by its colleges and with the help of the questionnaire in order to collect data for the framework. A total of (60) questionnaires were analyzed and distributed to a sample of managers, heads of departments, and administrative divisions. Several statistical methods were used to analyze and process data to reach the opinions of the respondents regarding the paragraphs of the questionnaire. Organizational enhancing strategic performance at the macro level and the level of sub-variables. The colleges in the research field have sufficient ability to deal with environmental variables at all levels and with a reasonable response rate. This capacity allows them to draw proactive strategies that put the organization at the center of strength and confrontation.
