The Role of Organizational Conflict in Promoting Career Creativity: a Case Study in the Muthanna Education Directorate

ABSTRACT

The current study aims at exploring the relationship between organizational conflict and job creativity. The study sample consists of 77 employees in the Muthanna Education Directorate with different educational attainment.  The study includes two main variables: the independent variable represented by organizational conflict, and the dependent variable represented by job creativity. a measurement tool prepared in the light of previous studies was used to collect research data.  The research includes two main hypotheses represented by examining the relationship between organizational conflict and job creativity statistically and morally.The hypothesis of study includes whether there is a statistically significant positive or negative correlation between organizational conflict and job creativity. The research used a set of appropriate statistical tools such as correlation coefficients, arithmetic means, standard deviations and simple regression analysis. The researcher reached a set of important conclusions and recommendations, the most prominent of which was the existence of a relationship between organizational conflict and job creativity.
