The effect of paternal leadership in reducing job withdrawal :An exploratory study in zain iraq

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of patriarchal leadership (charitable, moral, and authoritarian leadership) on reducing functional withdrawal (physical withdrawal, psychological withdrawal) within Zain Iraq Telecom Company. A total of (258) questionnaires were distributed to determine the availability of the dimensions of patriarchal leadership and career withdrawal, and (211) questionnaires valid for statistical analysis were retrieved. The data was analyzed using statistical methods represented in the normal distribution, stability factor (Alpha Cronbach).  reliability, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and multiple regression coefficients. The results of the study showed a positive effect relationship with statistical significance between parental leadership and the reduction of career withdrawal in the researched company.

Consequently, the study concluded by presenting several proposals, the most significant of which is working to strengthen the patriarchal leadership style. This is because of its impact on reducing job withdrawal by paying attention to the ideas and suggestions of workers and developing creative capabilities through training and guidance.
